Bush Builders Display in our Classroom

Calendar Art

Bush Builder Action Day
Today Kim from the zoo came back to our school to help us.
Room 3, 4, and 5 got to plant some native plants that Kim brought for us. We are hoping to attract birds, butterflies and lizards with the plants we used. We all got to help plant a tree. When we had planted our trees, Tara went to our school worm farm and got some worm wee to water the plants with. We hope the plants liked this treat!!
A special BIG THANK YOU to Charles, Gary and Sam who came to help us and did the hole digging for us! We think you were great.
What a fun morning we had.

Bush Builders
We have been exploring our bush at school. We have been digging and trapping bugs to see what we could find.
Worms, millipedes, springtails, ants, spiders are just some of the bugs and creatures we found.

World of Maths
Today we had World of Maths activities come to our school.
We went in small groups with a buddy from Room 8 to help us read the instructions for the activities. We had lots of fun working out the puzzles in our group.

Today we began this terms sessions of our Physical Literacy Programme.
We learnt to move in our own space and then we practised rolling, throwing and bouncing a ball to each other.
